Master's Clinician Programs
Building the future behavioral health workforce in primary care can be made substantially easier if current primary care staff are able to develop behavioral health expertise including receiving their credentials for practicing as licensed behavioral health clinicians.
The following is a list of programs that confer degrees as behavioral health clinicians. These programs have been assessed on factors including required class time, field work practicum hours, costs, and time to complete your degree. Depending on the staffing of the site these programs can allow students to complete field training at their current place of employment. It is advised that interested students discuss these educational options with their current employer to see how to make these programs work with their schedule and the needs of their workplace. Please be aware that there is no guarantee that the programs on this list will fit their needs, and prospective students should do additional research before applying.
